Twilight

I always ask myself what have I been doing that has kept me from posting anything. I actually know why this time. I've started reading the Twlight series! I bet Jim would back me up on this- I've kinda taken a break from everything!! It addicting! I used to be such a big reader and then..... kids came! So, I've enjoyed my quiet time again. The house can wait, right?

Both girls are napping and gearing up for Trunk-or-treat tonight! Emery actually gets Halloween this year which makes it all the more fun for me! I think we have kind of worn Emery out on Halloween already. I tried to take her to Walden Farm yesterday (trip #3 to the pumpkin farm)and she was so over it! It was cold though. Last night as I was putting her to bed, I asked if she knew what Friday was and she said, "Christmas!!!!"

I always intend to go back and separte posts into nice, clean little packages and then I get lazy! So here goes a quick recap of the last couple weeks!

No joke, the girl figured out how to open the ziploc bag of chips ahoy. She licked all of them and with her runny nose, I decided to trash them. I desparetely need a pantry with doors!

I love pictures taken on sunday morning. I love that my babies are clean, in clean clothes and most of the time pretty happy.

So, a few weeks ago I had my 10 year highschool reunion. It was very fun seeing everyone! I don't have many pictures, but I posted what I was emailed or what I took!

(So, I wasn't really planning on posting this picture.That would be my only major complaint about blogger- picking my picture order. I clicked on this picture instead of the one below, but didn't want to start the post over! But, can you complain when something is 100% free?)

Okay, so the only thing that I really wanted to accomplish today was to go ahead and vote early. Well, it didn't happen! The line was crazy long and I had both girls with me! But, don't worry... I WILL be voting! And all of you better too! Oh wait, only if we are voting the same way! Ha,ha! Merrill enjoying a balloon

I celebrated 2-9 last weekend! I typically wouldn't post this picture. Why you ask? Because I look like a goober!!! But, all I really have to say is I'm not scared of the big 3-0!! Or am I? Jim's parents totally surprised me with a new camera lens. Poppy enjoyed snapping a few shots while they were here last week. I'm going to love being able to get nose hair shots now too!

randomness

Not many pictures from the last few weeks. I wore myself out on taking pictures while at the beach. So, I thought I would post some randomness! What is this? Why, its a plastic black rat... one of merrill's favorite things to play with. It looks really cool (and dainty, I might add) when she chews on this. I have a friend to thank for this lovely toy who through her son a Rattitole party. It always amazes me what my girls like to play with. It's not the toys you buy... its neat stuff like this! Anyone else's kids?

Daddy and Emery (a.k.a. the twins!) headed to Disney on Ice. Emery was very excited to wear her princess dress again. Jim called me from the show and said, "E, that's a mean trick you played on me!" I said what? He said that none of the other kids were dressed up and people were looking at them! I thought it was hilarious. It looked like on the commercials that thats what you did!

We had a wonderful time at the beach. Except for my dad getting sick of course! We've been back awhile, but I just haven't been able to catch up my blog! There are a lot of pictures on here- 21 to be exact! (I hope I counted right) Hope you can make it through them!

Looking for my brother-n-law's wedding ring. Get this- he lost his ring in the water. He actually found the ring with the help of a metal detector; 2 days later... in knee deep water! We were all so excited for him!

oops!

I wanted to post this really fast. I had to drive my mom's car one day this week. I'm not used to strapping car seats in- Jim does that in our family. But I attempted too this one time! I heard some rattling in the back seat, but no crying because I knew Merrill was asleep. I pull in at home and come around to merrill's door and found her like this- still asleep! I had to get a picture with my phone! If you can't tell, her actual face is inches from the seat!
I hope to upload lots of pictures today during naptime. In case anyone was wondering.
