beach time

The girls and I flew down to the beach for a few days with Nana & Poppy! We had fun, but wished that Daddy could have come! not really a beach shot, but these fake nails made dinner out quite enjoyable. Emery loved playing with them! Dollar spot at Target- love that section!

poppy emailed me this one. I was not in any of the shots on my camera. Of course the only shot I am in I have wet hair and zero makeup!

merrill loved roaming around on the beach

emery loved the water......we got to get rid of those water wings though!

merrill prefers to eat anywhere but the table!

the man with the camera. poppy takes a ton of pictures and beach shots are his favorite. I start cringing when I see his camera come out at the beach!!

1/2 of June & 1/2 of July

This summer is flying by...... We've had so much fun swimming with friends, celebrating 4th of july, and father's day too! I had to make myself sit down and upload pictures because we are headed to the beach tomorrow!

em& jim watching the fireworks- I absolutely love 4th of July! My stomach hurts thinking of all the food we ate in a 24 hour period..... I also did a terrible job documenting all of our festivities this year! sisters watching cousins with sparklers

emery is becoming QUITE the big sister- I'm sure she's being bossy here

emery and nolan- check out nolan's face.... he was scared emery was going to get her bomb pop on him!

lounging by the pool

We drove up to church camp one day last month. The only picture I got was this one. The girls are wasting cold water from the cooler. I'm sure all the campers thanked us!

Okay... as sweet as it is...I always get kinda nervous when Jim says, "I have a surprise for the girls." Well, this time, he did great! He found these t-shirts and they don't want to wear anything else! I'm not sure why I even care anymore what they wear?? I suggested slapping a monogram on them, but Jim said no!

Okay, ever since CA, merrill has been 100% a daddy's girl. She says, "daddy?" close to 20 times a day. I always answer, "he's at work!" If she finds one of his shirts laying around (yes, clothes tend to be lying around our house) she drags it around the house. In this photo, Jim was trying to get ready for church and merrill wouldn't quit crying for him. He just had to hold her! All I could do is watch : ) It also happened to be Father's day! And, on that note... what a great daddy my girls have!
