I wanted a really cute infant carseat cover for Henderson with a name or monogram. So, my very talented mom made a pattern copying the car cover I had for Merrill. I loved Henderson's, although his never got a monogram or name on it!

Well, not in this room much!!! But, at least he has a room to call his own someday! My very talented mom proved herself once more!!!

Ever seen a boy's bumper pad with ruffles or bows? Well, you have now! He'll kill me someday for this probably!

So, the blue shutters..... came with the house. And they were cut to the window. So, we got really lucky and they matched one of the blues in the fabric. They'll do for now!

This blue dresser is my favorite piece of furniture in the house right now......see below!

In case you were wondering where all the "stuff/junk" was.....It's right here on the daybed in Henderson's room. This space is also known as Byerly Grand Central station. You can find anything from a diaper bag, keys, clean clothes, dirty clothes, or even a dirty diaper sometimes! I'm getting up to go clean right this second.......





Okay, so this piece of furniture was left with the house when we bought it. Jim was ready to take it to Goodwill. And I put my foot down. A FREE dresser with red knobs....who wouldn't want this???

LYLA turned it into this!!! I just love it! You can see I have nothing on the walls. That's pretty much standard throughout my entire house. Maybe someday!

July so far....

So, I'm on a roll, two posts in one day.....

Not sure where July has gone? It's been hot I know that!

On tap for the rest of the month: VBS, Dollywood, and then off to the beach. Those of us that don't have real school age kids....we've got a lot more summer left! Preschool doesn't start until late August for us! Which.....on a side note....I'm so glad we decided to do a pre-k instead of sending emery on to kindergarten. I would be an absolute wreck if my "baby" was going to school everyday in just a few weeks!!

I mentioned Dollywood.....we are headed to meet Uncle Bud & the future Aunt Megan. My brother got engaged over July 4th weekend. So, we've got a wedding in the works. Possibly this fall???

We headed to Nana & Poppy's lake for the 4th. We had a great time! Henderson is already a busy little guy.....Rolling, rolling, and rolling..... He's even rolled off the couch already! We're so proud of him! I mean, oops! Checkout that very white skin and those blue eyes! Both Jim and I have brown. Where did they come from? And, it almost looks like he may be a blond???? What???

May and June

Okay.........When I think about May and June these months are a blur. Is it because we added another baby to the byerly mix and we've been adjusting or is it because it was almost 3 months ago? Probably both.



We headed up to Holiday World one weekend! This was the only picture I got! And, honestly, I think this is the only time I had my camera the month of June. Pitiful. I mean you can barely tell these are my kids this picture is so bad. I MUST do better.......

Emery graduated from 4 year old preschool. She proclaimed that she wanted to be a rockstar when she grew up. Hilarious! I felt sure she was just copying a friend, but ms. Tracy said that answer was all her!

We had a day at the zoo for CF to walk with Tori....

The girl loves this outfit! I mean loves it......She hids it when she thinks its dirty and I'm going to wash it. So, how fitting she wore it at her school birthday thing. She also requested cookies. Why won't she try cake or cupcakes????

My parents house on Saturday, May 1st. The day of the big flood. They were fortunate to have minimal damage. Their house was surrounded! They live on the little harpeth if that helps explain things!

March & April

We spent a lot of March at home. And, then in April.....we hit the ground running!!! Here's a bunch of random pictures from those months~ May and June coming soon!!!

Merrill is loving Henderson. Sometimes a little too much. She always says, "Hen-hen is eating me." She's going to love getting him in trouble. I do think these two are going to be great friends and great trouble!!

Easter bunny brought first pair of chuck taylors. We've worn these suckers with several smocked dresses....life is all about compromise, right?

Easter sunday. Merrill unhappy.....again!

my sweet boy is growing like crazy...

merrill loves, loves, loves trying on Henderson's clothes. Most of them fit in the waist. These 3 month pants are just a little short though.

We potty trained. And, we still are. I love how it looks like they are deep in conversation. And, I love how Emery's toothbrush is practically touching the toilet.

Okay....Jim wanted to take all 3 kids, by himself to the grand old opry....just teasing! he took the girls before the flood and I'm so glad!

celebrating Daddy's birthday. I made his cake and my first outing with all three by myself was to the grocery for ONE thing I needed for the cake. But, the outing went great.....we celebrated with ice cream from maggie's moos afterwards. Are you doing the math??? Yes, I had two desserts that day!!

This one is for my sister. We tease my dad about being a shoe salesman. He worked at a store called family bootery for one summer in college. So, now he's a shoe expert!!

Jim has been doing some work around our "new" house. We've owned it for a year now! crazy how fast time is flying!!!!
