a backwards Christmas recap

I know, Christmas is way over, but here's a quick recap of our holidays. Of course it's backwards, starting with after Christmas. But, oh well!

Christmas Morning at our house:

We couldn't believe it....Santa delivered some chocolates that looked like a mouse had gotten into them! How gross, Santa!

Daddy was super excited about the new sleeping bags!

Christmas Eve at my Grandmother's house:

Christmas eve at my grandmothers- where has she seen this look?

emery was so tired by the time we opened gifts. Check out her outfit- she loves changing into dresses my grandmother kept that were my aunts and moms. Lovely with red shoes and red bow, isn't it?

Christmas with Nana & Poppy:

Nana and Poppy came up for Christmas a few days before. They gave Merrill a baby doll that breathed and cried like a real one. Merrill was less than thrilled!

I mean, how old is she?

Ornament Party:

The girls and I had an ornamnet party early december. It wouldn't have happened if it weren't for my sweet mom, sweet husband, and sweet martha lynn. They all helped me clean the house and make some goodies. I'm lucky to have them all!

the girls were excited to see their daddy after the party- rumor has it that it was a bit wild back in the bedrooms? Something about someone swinging from a chandelier???

Attempts at a Christmas card- always so fun!:

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. As I sat here and worked on this.... I'm listening to Vince Gill on CMT sing "give me jesus" Please keep praying for sweet Misty's family.
